Jason "Towlie" has left Aftershock to play for the D1 NPPL Team H.K. Army
We have a few used team DM7s left that we're clearing out for &750.00. They've all been checked out and shoot good.
Another season has ended for Aftershock, as a team we feel we could have preformed much stronger. A couple of good showings and a few bad ones is not what you like to accomplish after all the practice and hard work that comes with being on an NXL Team.
We played well at the World Cup but not good enough to overcome the Russian death machine. Our good friends the L.A. Ironmen did and we’d like to congratulate them.
Former Aftershock All-Star player Ryan Williams announced his retirement from competitive paintball prior to the final match. Always a class act, (Accept that time in the bar in Pittsburgh) Ryan will be missed. Arguably the greatest snake player of all time he was a true game changing force. Thanks for all your help with our trophy (& toothpick) collection we miss ya buddy.
TEAM NEWS // Spud Update...
For those of you that expressed your concern earlier, we thought we’d give you a John "Spud" Jackson update.
Spuddy has seemingly kicked some more ass. The Wagner's disease he has been diagnosed with is in remission allowing him to gain back the weight that he has always carried. He’s back to work and hanging out at all little (pretty big now) John‘s football, baseball, basketball & wrestling competitions…..the legend continues.
TEAM NEWS // Mike Carey to Retire...
Stand out player Mike Carey has chose to retire. After and unbelievable career, Mike is choosing to spend more time with his lovely wife Emma and their beautiful children. Mike's business M.R. Paintball is booming as is his tournament series. With all this going on travel is less and less of an option. Mike's skill on the field will be sorely missed, his leadership both on and off the filed will be hard to replace.
Thanks for all the years Mike, and Best of Luck!
TEAM NEWS // Aaron Tholey New Aftershock Player
Aaron was traded to Aftershock from Philly in a player swap that landed them Robert Plum. Aaron's a guy that plays with heart and dedication. He'll be a perfect compliment to the rebuilding of the Aftershock squad that continues to get younger and younger, building for the future.
