- WELCOME TO TEAMAFTERSHOCK.COM

Today we lost a friend and teammate; Jason “Towlie” Calef passed away this morning November 18th 2008. Although he chose to play this past season with other teams, exploring his options, Towlie was Aftershock through and through. Just this past week he had a conversation with us about coming back to the Badlandz and Aftershock. The answer was yes. We wanted him back; we just were not given the opportunity.

Towlie was a Midwest standout both on and off the field. Immensely popular as a friend as much as he was the most feared one on one player on the field.

He leaves a massive hole in Midwest Paintball, one that can never and should never be filled. We feel the loss as his friends and would like to extend our most passionate condolences to his family.

You will be missed my friend – Renick

Aftershock and our extended family

WELCOME // To the Official Chicago Aftershock Website - Chi-Town Paintball!

Team Aftershock is without question, the most winning 10 Man team in the history of paintball. Whether it was 15-Man, 10-Man, or 5-Man, pump, semi or electronic markers, Aftershock resides almost always at the top of the pack. One of the first teams to join the NXL, Aftershock has solidified it's position as one of the preeminent teams in history. Always willing to push the envelope pertaining to on field aggression, game theory, as well as adapting to new formats.

NEWS //AFTERSHOCK Update

After taking off most of the 2008 season, former all-star player Paul McCord is coming back to help lead the team of young talent back to its winning ways.

NEWS //AFTERSHOCK Update

Darcy Schlichenmayer has chosen to call it a career leaving Aftershock and possibly the NXL. WIth no hard feelings, Darcy let us know it just wasn't working for him. Living so far from the team, in the nether regions of the great northwest. Coupled with his already busy schedule, made making practices all but impossible.
We wish Darcy well in all he does and look forward to seeing him in the not to distant future.

NEWS //AFTERSHOCK Update

Unless he goes off the deep end again it appears that John "Spud" Jackson is back to full strength and on the road to a "normal" life. If you know Spuddy, normal really has nothing to do with his life so we're just letting you know he has won yet again, the Wagners disease has left the building.
